The questions people actually ask.
Do I own the website?
You own your content, your words, your images and your domain, and you can take them with you. You do not own the build or the hosting — that is what the monthly fee covers, the same way a lease covers the car rather than selling it to you. If owning the files outright matters more to you than the monthly cost, an agency is the better purchase and we would rather say so now.
What if I don't like what it builds?
You see the finished site before you pay anything. If it is not right, discard it and you are charged nothing. There is no card required to get that far.
Why do I have to add credit?
Your first build is free. After that, each build draws a small amount of credit, because every build costs us a real generation to run. The minimum top-up is $15, and it is a deposit rather than a fee: whatever you do not spend on builds is applied to your first monthly invoice automatically. If you go on to lease a site, it has cost you nothing extra.
What happens if I cancel?
The site goes offline that day and billing stops. For 30 days you can put it back yourself at the same price you were paying, even if our prices have gone up. After that it is kept but you can email support@websiites.com to restore it.
Can I change it after it is live?
Yes. Rebuild it as often as you like at no extra cost, and change trim up or down from your account — the difference is prorated on the next invoice.
I already have a domain.
Good, use it. You add two records at your registrar and we check them for you until the site answers. Your domain stays registered to you throughout.
I am not technical at all.
Nothing here needs any technical knowledge except pointing the domain, which is two copy-and-paste records and a checker that tells you plainly whether it worked yet.
